A food truck in Morocco: saying every day where you are, on your online menu
Your places and your week, the dates out of the ordinary, what your guest sees at each moment of the day: a digital menu for a food truck that moves.
A café's guests know where to find it. A food truck's guests first wonder where you are today: on the corniche in the evening, near an office district at lunchtime, at the beach in summer, at a market on the weekend. If the answer is in a story posted three days ago, they will not find it. The simplest place for it is where they already look: at the top of your menu.
Your places, once and for all
Save the places where you set up, each with a name your guests recognise and the Google Maps link of the exact spot. The city is read from the link: there is nothing else to type.
A typical week, and the dates out of the ordinary
- The week's schedule: for each day you work, your hours and where you park. A day off has no place.
- Special dates: a festival, a private event, a season at the beach. They come before the week's schedule on that day, keep their own hours, and are pointed out to your guests.
A special date that has passed disappears by itself: there is no old event to clean up.
What your guest sees
- During your service, where you are, at the top of the menu; one tap opens the directions.
- Before you open, where you will be today.
- Once the day's service is over, your next stop: tomorrow, Monday, or next Monday if you only come once a week.
The menu and the place are on the same page: your guest sees what you serve, with prices in dirhams, and where to find you.
Sharing your menu's address
A food truck has no tables, so no QR code per table: your menu has its own address, the same every day. Put it where your guests look for you:
- in your Instagram bio or on your Facebook page;
- on your Google profile, as the link to your menu;
- on the truck itself, written out or as a QR code, for whoever is in the queue.
What about ordering ahead?
If your plan includes ordering, your guests can also order from your truck's page and choose when they come to collect, within your hours of the day. The queue gets shorter, and you see the orders arrive on your screen.
With ScanEat, your places, your week and your special dates show at the top of your menu, which you change from your phone, and we are with you on WhatsApp. If you welcome visitors from abroad, here is a menu for tourists. Create your menu.
